TITLE SEQUENCE: JOJO RABBIT
Title sequence animation for the film "Jojo Rabbit" by Taika Waititi
A title sequence made for the film "JoJo Rabbit". The film is about a young boy whose imaginary friend is Hitler, and he is very faithful to the leader's ideology. However, his world and conviction started to break when he met a girl who was hiding in his house.

The keywords for this project were "childhood-imagination-innocence". Based on this, the concept for the design was a cut-out theatre, and each character was represented as a puppet.
​
Also, the story is located in Germany, and one of the most well-known art schools is Bauhaus. This was the main reference at the moment of creating the artwork. The illustrations are inspired by the Bauhaus Theatre by Oskar Schlemmer – designer of the Triadic Ballet.

The palette colour is red, white and black, following the patterns of the Nazis.

The background and characters are designed with a combination of sharp shapes and curves.
