Women's FA CUP - Branding
PROJECT CONCEPT: “SPORT GODDESSES”
Present the players with powerful and elegant characters. Give a twist to the image of the Greek gods by putting women in those strong, big and delicate bodies. Give the women players their own style and sound, a distinctive identity.
“A field of dreams awaits”

Murals of the players come to life as they interact with girls who want to be like them someday. The excitement for the game begins in the colourful streets and grows as they enter the stadium, where the sound of the whistle announce the start of the game.

LOGO DESIGN
The project has a big reference to Greek sculpture and Art Deco style.

The illustrations of the female characters were based on the Greek gods and goddesses sculptures. The bodies are muscular and big but still look elegant.
​
For the typography, the design is sharp with strong lines, as a difference to the illustrations that have more curves. Except for the letter "S" at the end that has the shape of a wave. This way, both illustration and typography create a full package

ANIMATIC & 3D CAMERA
The animation had three segments that required 3D camera. To make the process easier,
I created each section in Cinema 4D and used it as a reference to draw over them.
This way it continuos with the hand drawing style.
POSTERS & SOCIAL MEDIA


The design for the posters and social media posts was created using the Greek style as a reference. For example, making the female characters look like stone sculptures.
